Not long ago, the phrase "drill baby drill" was born. I'm not really sure where it began, who started it or why it became so popular to say. The only thing I guess I related it to was when Sarah Palin became the Republican choice for Vice President of the United States. I can still hear the constant chant"DRILL BABY DRILL"and it really began my research into what she was actually giving reference to. She wanted to open more of Alaska land to drilling for oil. WOW ! how incredible.
This led me to doing some investigation into the Keystone pipeline when all Republicans began taking about it. I just wanted to become more familiar with all the terms, so I could figure out exactly what it meant to our country.
The question comes down to "Do the benefits of 'FRACKING' outweigh the risks. First of all you must know what Fracking is. It is the extracting of Natural Gas from the ground through a process called hydraulic fracturng. High volume fracking, with horizontal drilling , recovers natural gas that is trapped in deep shale rock and other formations below the ground. You simply inject a high pressure mixture of water, sand and chemicals that force shale deposits to open and releases the gas.
Critics are concerned that FRACKING may create serious environment impact such as methane leaks, water shortages, water pollution and adverse effects on health. Take a look at this small movie and let me know what you think.

SIGN OF SPRING
Here it is, now March 26th and I began my day as usual. Newspaper in hand, coffee brewing and thoughts, of all kind, running through my head. Spring, where does one begin. The crocus are croaking, the tulips are tulliping and it looks like the season of wine will be a strong one as I look over the amount of dandelions in my lawn. The gardener was here on Friday with all kinds of things that have to be done (almost sounds like a wife) fertilize, trim roses, spray ant bait, spray weed killer, sprinkle moss killer on roof, clean gutters. I just had to get away from him, since all this work has now exhausted me and ...................I need a nap! Better drink my coffee first and have my blueberry yogurt to build up enough strength for all this bill paying..............to the gardener. With the price of gas, he wants to raise my grass cutting costs up $5.00 to a total of $10.00 , guess I'll just have to start wearing my ..................."Border Patrol" hat. Don't think it will phase him in the least though..........since he is Vietnamese. I keep telling him that I am really sure there is a language problem...............I simply "do not know what it means .................to raise the price"
My only advise at this time for my neighbors is..................."take it easy folks with this spring weather..............we still have 3 weeks of winter. Remember what that.... MOLE.... "Phil" told us earlier, and apparently he must still be around looking at my neighbors lawn.
