Each one of you, reading this blog have touched our lives, one way or another. Either individually or as a couple. I sincerely have enjoyed and will continue to enjoy bringing you, my life of days gone by, present days and how I view the future. I hope you stay on line with me.
For me, it seems that my life is getting shorter.
The days are just not as long as they use to be. (less daylight) Margot keeps saying not to worry..........it's just standard time we are on now...................but I think there is more involved. She also tells me it will get better in the spring when we move our clocks forward................but I'm not really sure that will work either. Seems we went through that last summer but for some reason I always missed the 7th inning stretch along with the 8th and 9th innings of the games. The eyelids just seem to close early regardless of what time of the year it is.
Now that it's dark at 4:30PM I just seem to automatically curl up on the couch and miss the next 6 hours of the day before Margot tells me it's time to go to bed. OOOOHHHHH where does the time go.
A friend of mine sent this video out to me and after watching it I discovered there was so much more to stay awake for. It brought back memories of days gone by................when some of my moves.........were just as impressive. Start it up and think back, my friends, to those days of the JIVE.!!!
